And since we have extensive experience in working & volunteering within the charity sector, we've designed our affiliate programme in a way that will help you to generate revenue, that can pay for your volunteer training and help you keep the lights on. 

This also helps us to keep our lights on, as well as allowing us to keep developing and working towards our vision of a world where grief support is widely available when people need it the most.

Key Affiliate Information:

Affiliate organisations can use the Grief Guides system to train their workforce/volunteers, as well as having the ability to offer clients and service users a comprehensive grief training course.
If you would like to raise funds by offering grief training to your local community, local businesses or partners, we can offer you two options, branded or non-branded. 

Branded


With the option of your own branding we will tailor the content to your identity and purpose. 
This will enable you to offer high quality, low-cost training, without significant initial outlay, and at a low ongoing cost.

We will work with you to ensure that this is a  continually evolving system, adapting as your needs grow. You will also be able to use it for onboarding your team.

Non-Branded (quick and easy)


Alternatively, become a proud partner with the Elephants, receive an affiliate link overnight, and start earning money on any course sold by your efforts. We will take care of everything, you have oversight and will help us tailor the modules to your values.

What about consultancy fees?



Whatever project your organisation gets involved in will inevitably mean paying a team of consultants; yet another expense you have to factor into the ever-stretching budget.

We are trainers & therapists - communication is literally what we do. And when you join our project as an affiliate, we consider it’s part of our responsibility to clearly understand your ambitions and needs. So we don’t charge a consultation fee, this investment of our time is absorbed by us. There will be no four-figure charge to produce a policy review or guide (that often ends up sitting on a bookshelf or buried on your intranet).

After a comprehensive review of what you have in place, we will work with you to tailor the Grief Guides material and modules to your organisational needs.

We will be investing in you, with our time, technology & dedicated work. But we will not be wrapping you up in terms and conditions, we will be wrapping you up in trust, commitment and returns. 

Affiliate Pricing

How do we set our pricing? We recognise that different clients will have different needs and different budgets, and there’s lots of competition for the funding pots in those budgets. As with every other element of our system, our pricing is designed to demonstrate our ability to be flexible to your needs. As we build our client base, and cover our costs, that will be reflected within our overall pricing.

Our pricing is influenced by:

  • The amount and depth of customised material you desire
  • Branding or non-branding 
  • A calculation of your organisational needs, and budget availability
  • A sense of commitment (although this is not contractual, we do need you to follow through on the commitment agreed upon, just as we will do for you)

All our affiliate clients will receive:

  • 'As long as it takes' consultation meetings with key stakeholders, to understand your needs
  • Knowledge, skills and insight into grief and the impact of bereavement
  • Comprehensive resources for your organisation to draw upon, including signposting information
  • Practical tips and coping strategies for employees
  • A unique appraisal of your environment, internal and external
  • 360 feedback and review of our collaboration

For clients that want to collaborate in a longer-term relationship, and intend to incorporate Grief Guides into their way of working, we will:


Include personalised information, unique to the organisation, such as safeguarding, intranet, corporate training manuals and videos.
Create a private community space, just for your team
Adapt the pricing to reflect your needs and our ongoing relationship.


We never want to swoop in and 'consult' and then swoop out leaving you with a branded PDF that will be lost in your OneDrive, or even worse, a printed manual that will be recycled, when the manual owner moves companies or changes roles. Our conversations will be converted into tangible benefits and cultural change, easy to adopt, implement and scale.

We have created and advertised a single user price on our website, so that individuals can become a Grief Guide if they are self-employed or a student.  However, for clients that indicate they require volume, we have volume pricing, and it’s never going to be a contractual lock in.  An example may look like this:  

Your organisation has several thousand distributed employees, all working to their own shift patterns or time zones, dealing with a client base that is often vulnerable, in grief or bereaved.   You would like to introduce Grief Guides to all your customer-facing team, and then start to focus inwards, raising the culture of grief awareness within your organisation. Your clients/patients/service-users benefit, and your company gains by mitigating the impact of grief in your team, seeing reduced absenteeism/presenteeism, better morale and dedication.


Pricing Examples:

Non-Branding: for £3000 (a sample industry price point), paid quarterly (you can evaluate the ROI and allow you to change direction/budget), we will offer:

  • A review, analysis, and suggestions regarding your present company policies and entitlements
  • An ‘As long as it takes’ consultation meetings with the key stakeholders, so we understand your needs
  • 120 Grief Guide Licenses, 10 per month
  • Fixed price of £25 per additional licence
  • One bespoke Teams session of 90-minute delivery per quarter
  • Access to all the public Teams 90-minute sessions
  • Comprehensive resources for your organisation to draw upon, 
  • Knowledge, skills and insight into grief and the impact of bereavement
  • Practical tips and coping strategies for employees
  • Postvention planning and support in the event of a death at work
  • Best practice offering support to colleagues and families
  • Non-branding, a simple transparent partnership

Branding: for £6000 p/a, paid quarterly in advance, reviewed annually, we will offer:

If you wanted to brand the Grief Guides concept to your organisation, with your logo and custom domain and content personalisation, we can do that as well. Because we are a small team, and this level of customisation would require time and resources, we would need the commitment of an annual contract. If you would like to consider multiple years that will be reflected in the price. We are viewing clients that want this option as long-term strategic partners, and that will be reflected through the depth, duration and mutual investment in the working relationship.


Because this system will be branded, it is an ideal opportunity for you to repackage, rebrand and resell. It is anticipated that the retail price of a single Grief Guide Licence will sit around the £40 mark, so your opportunity for profit is approximately £25 per licence. The benefits of this affiliate package would be:


  • 408 Grief Guide Licenses, 34 per month, internal use.
  • Client branding, messaging and bespoke content, in addition to the core Grief Material
  • Fixed price of £15 per additional licence
  • Creation of client-facing products for sale for revenue generation
  • Two Teams sessions, 90-minute delivery per quarter.
