Get a foundational understanding of grief and how to support someone after a loss

What To Expect
Relatable and transferable knowledge. The insights you will get in this training will be useful across your life, from work to community to family. Grief is a part of the human condition, but when we learn how to adapt and grow around our grief, the less life complications we encounter.
Who Is This Course For?
This training is suitable for anyone who wants to understand grief more and offer support, and prefers to do their learning in their own time. Whether you are in a role that involves interacting with the bereaved regularly, you want to contribute to a more grief-informed workplace, or you just want to offer better support to the people in your life, this training will give you knowledge, insights, and skills.
It is purely self-learning content, which gives you a solid foundation into grief awareness and will build skills that help you communicate better and offer effective grief support. It does not include any live trainer-led content, and you won't receive the paper-based Grief Map resource that is part of the three part grief training package that we also offer. Before you sign up for this course, you may want to have a look at Grief Guides: Mapping Compassionate Support, in case that will meet your needs better.
